Jillian Michaels, one of the leading and renowned fitness experts, announced that she now has a huge investment in Cardano’s native token ($ADA) with a smaller portion of Dogecoin ($DOGE).
Michaels is an author, a TV personality, a businesswoman and ultimately, an American personal trainer based in Los Angeles, California. She is known for her special appearances on NBC, most especially “The Biggest Loser.”
Worthy of remembrance is that Mark Cuban, the billionaire investor who has the majority shares of the Dallas Maverick Professional Basketball team and also one of the Sharks in the trending reality shows ‘Sharks Tank’, made a tread on Twitter on May 15 to vouch for the success of Layer 1 & 2 Blockchain platforms in having lower transaction fees and higher transactions throughput. And also, there must be a current substantial user growth and network effect.
A Twitter user, @kryptojumpman, spoke to Cuban that there is a need for a closer look at Cardano and Cuban responded that he had never seen a functional application powered by Cardano.
Charles Hoskinson, with the handle @IOHK_Charles, invited Cuban for a chat in his Colorado ranch. However, Hoskinson’s invitation was rejected by Cuban, but he went further to ask him why he uses ADA on a daily basis.
The Twitter conversation between Hoskinson and Cuban, however, ended when Cuban wishes Hoskinson good luck in all his endeavour for Cardano. Mark Cuban is known to be a huge fan of $DOGE (Dogecoin) partly because it was made cool with Elon Musk’s interest in it and also because of the support BitPay has for it, which makes the fans of his professional basketball team uses Dogecoin to buy merchandise.
A few days later, Jullian Michaels replied to Cuban’s tweet and criticized him for choosing Dogecoin over Cardano as a useful crypto asset.
The following day, responding to a tweet that called her ‘Doge Hater’, Michaels mentioned that she did not have anything against Dogecoin and she had $10,000 invested in it, though for fun. But more interestingly, she mentioned that she has half a million dollars invested in Cardano.
It was then revealed later in the day that her ‘fun’ investment in the DOGE meme coin paid off for her.
Currently, based on data from CryptoCompare, Cardano’s native token, ADA, is trading at $1.708, which has seen a 1.24% increase in the previous 24 hours.
